How can I watch Newcastle v N. Forest? Live on Sky Sports from 2pm.
The 2025/26 Premier League is now in match week 7 of 38 and will see a meeting between Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, with both sides likely disappointed with their respective league starts so far. Sitting in 15th and 17th, three points would be a welcome boost for both.
The Magpies suffered an agonising defeat to Arsenal last time out in the league with the Gunners snatching a last-gasp victory at St James' Park, while visitors Forest also had a hugely disappointing home defeat to newly-promoted Sunderland in their most recent league fixture.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Newcastle as 13/20 favourites to secure a victory while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Magpies at 8/13.
Forest meanwhile are 15/4 underdogs to grab a first away victory in the league since May (7/2 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 29/10.
Recent H2H form has not been kind on the away side, with Newcastle victorious in four of the last five (although one of these was a draw after 90 minutes which Newcastle then won on a penalty shootout). The last meeting at this ground produced a 4-3 goal-fest with Newcastle holding off a spirited fightback after leading 4-1 heading into the second half.
Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Newcastle/N. Forest 0.8 - 1. This means if Newcastle won 3-0 (or by any other three goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 1 would mean a return of 2x your initial stake.
However, if you bought at 1 in Newcastle's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 1x your stake. Or, if Forest were to grab a 1-0 (or any other single goal margin) win, the market would settle negatively at -1 and a buy at 1 would result in a loss of 2x your opening stake.
You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.85 - 3.05. So a 3.05 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 2.85 sell bet would need less than three goals to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.05 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.05x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.
Newcastle have so far found it difficult to fill the goalscoring void of departed striker Alexander Isak, but summer signing Nick Woltemade seems to have found his feet with two goals in three appearances in the league - including in the defeat to Arsenal. The Magpies will be hopeful of the big man again providing goalscoring threat here, particularly in terms of headed goals.
Punters deciding to back a market in relation to headers may look at the Newcastle Super Mega Minutes (Headed) market, in which there is an aggregate make-up of goal minutes from headers by the named team, where minutes are doubled for the second headed goal and trebled for a third headed goal. No further multipliers are added beyond this.
This would mean that if Woltemade was to score a header in the 30th minute, followed by the 75th minute, this second headed goal would add 150 to the total make-up rather than 75. This would mean a total make-up of 180, which would yield a return of 154x initial stake on buy bets from a pre-match spread of 21-26.
Conversely, if he was to score a single headed goal in the 34th minute as he did against Arsenal, the market would settle at 34 and buy bets would yield an 8x return on opening wager. However, you could lose 26x your stake on buy bets if there were no headed goals scored by Newcastle, so please spread bet responsibly.
Our N. Forest Total Goal Minutes spread betting quote is 48 - 56. So, if you fancied a repeat of the 4-3 match last time these sides met where Forest had a TGM make-up of 159 then a 'buy' bet at 56 would return 103x your stake. However, if they were to fail to score at all and you placed a buy bet, you could lose 56x your opening stake.
All of the last five H2H matches have seen Both Teams Score. You can back both teams to find the net here at 8/11, or Evens if you fancy that trend to end here.
