Admitting she only applied for the show as a joke, the Welsh participant says she might annoy her co-stars by being "annoying".

She said: "In Wales, we have this saying, 'I'll do it now in a minute.'

"So like, if I went to make food and I left a dish on the side, I have all good intentions of washing it but I'd be like, 'I'll do it now in a minute,' and it might be three hours later before I do it."

Chanelle seems to have some credit cards debts too, revealing she would use the yet-to-be revealed cash prize to pay them off.

When asked how his loved ones would describe himself, he said: "A loud, positive and musical person. I like music a lot, I’m always singing, rapping or playing music."

"A lot of people think that wearing a headscarf might stop you from having opportunities, whereas for me, it's been completely the opposite.

"I embrace it with confidence and it's actually given me lots of opportunities. I want to let people know that us Muslims, we really aren't suppressed. I'm far from suppressed - I used to be a holiday rep!"

He said: "People automatically think I grew up in Manchester but when I tell them my life story they are quite surprised.

"When I was a kid I used to collect snakes and everything."

Zak added, "People might judge me because I’m a model.

He added, "I mean, I'll be honest, my parents would definitely say I’m a bit of a snob but I take it as a compliment.

"I think it means you've got high standards and good taste. They’d say I was quite a peculiar child."

He might just have to pinch himself when he enters the house, though, as he's been a big fan since childhood.

Matty said: "I used to watch Big Brother when I was like, 9 or 10 past my bedtime with my mum.

"I grew up in such a small place on the Isle of Man where I didn't really see many people who felt like me.

While she's been an avid viewer for years, she previously felt unable to apply for one heartbreaking reason.

Kerry, who uses a walking stick, continued: "It just felt a little bit unachievable because for the first three years of my illness I was in a wheelchair.

"When I saw it was coming back and searching for real people from all walks of life, I thought, 'This is my year.'"
