They called out one particularly "creepy" moment and bombarded the telly watchdog with their opinions.

Celebrity Big Brother anchor AJ, 37, had an awkward encounter with Mickey, 72, when he twirled her around on the stage and said "nice outfit" before pulling her towards him.

However, when Mickey continued to ogle AJ, she raised her voice slightly and said: "Stop looking at me ... it's time for you to get inside the house!"

But as the Big Brother theme tune played out Mickey told AJ "I want to stay with you!"

Appearing to intervene, Will then pushed Mickey away from AJ.

Instead of going inside, Mickey took his time shaking hands with audience members.

AJ and Will were forced to chase him into the house, and he appeared to grab AJ's hand again to bring her inside with him before giving up and letting go.

Fans noticed and took to X to praise Will Best, with one writing: "It was so uncomfortable watching him harrass AJ on live TV. I liked how Will Best protected AJ throughout that segment."

Another said: "Not the biggest fan of AJ and Wills presenting sometimes, but they handled him well! And Will holding her hand and giving her a hug after showed what a gent he is."

"Mickey was totally out of it! As for the way he touched AJ as well - that was awful. Thank goodness for Will," a third said.

Mickey Rourke joins Celebrity Big Brother

Over on Big Brother: Late & Live, guest Alan Carr joked the Mickey's "tongue was hanging out" before he entered the reality show compound.

Now viewers have taken to X in an angry frenzy, with one posting: "@Ofcom you need to investigate This kind of Behaviour from Any Celebrity."

They added: "Get Michael Rourke Removed from the CBB House for Inappropriately Touchy Behaviour Towards AJ Odudu."

Another posted: "Oh god! I have a horrible feeling #MickeyRourke is going to be one of three types of housemate. The weird one, the creepy one, or the nutty one. Probably all of the above!"

One then said: "Okay Mickey was very creepy with AJ."

Another demanded: "Get Mickey out."

One commented: "Mickey's getting kicked out."

Their comments came after fears Mickey would "cancel himself" due to his antics.

He was recently seen on his final night out before being holed up in the ITV compound.

BIZARRE MOMENT

Talking to comedian Alan about Mickey's comment, AJ later addressed the bizarre moment.

The Chatty Man host said: "Can we talk about Mickey Rourke looking at you? Wow his eyes.

"Find someone who looks at you the way Mickey looks at you [AJ]. His tongue was hanging out."

AJ replied: "It literally was. I was like 'You can't afford these feathers Mickey, no'."

Arriving in the compound, the actor - who won a Bafta for his role in the acclaimed 2008 film The Wrestler - was greeted by housemates doing a massive conga.

Ahead of the show, party animal Mickey said: "I have no expectations. I’ve never seen it. I'm just going to go in, do my thing, and we'll see."
